Kaspersky is not updating

When I update manually, Kaspersky starts downloading 1.62KB, then stops and says: "Updates not required".

This has been going on for the past three days (during which I have tried to update manually for may be 100 times, to no avail).

How can I have any security with no updates in three days?

I think the vendor mentioned something about not exceeding the number of allowed installation times, meaning that if I installed more than the allowed number of times, the software would stop functioning, or would not install again. As a footnote, I have just logged into My Kaspersky and there is a notice that the site is being revamped, due to be complete by the end of the month.

Up until a couple of weeks ago, I was using Kaspersky Internet Security on two of my desktop computers only without a single issue, and about ten days ago, I uninstalled the Norton Antivirus from my HP notebook and installed Kaspersky Internet Security as I had a spare license key with me.

Office A appears to be fine It's a strange one as the policy shows in KSC10 as having been enforced on most of the computers.

I have checked a few that have supposedly pulled down the policy and cannot see the exclusion rules or trusted apps that I added.

About 5 days ago, I found that Kaspersky isn’t updating the virus database automatically, and decided to find a fix for this issue.
